For our rafting tours, we ensure you are fully equipped with premium gear from head to toe. You only need to bring a swimsuit to wear under the equipment and a towel to dry off. Simply show up in your comfortable daily clothes, and we will get you ready for the river.

It depends on what you seek. Springtime usually offers high water levels and some serious excitement. In July and August you can expect crystal-clear water and the perfect emerald color with moderate rapids. September and October bring more solitude and the most peaceful experience of the river.

You do not need to be an Olympic swimmer, but you should be comfortable in the water. You will be equipped with a professional life vest that keeps you floating. That said, we want you to enjoy the view, not worry about the water. If you are doubting your swimming skills, please contact our team.

Bovec rafting is one of the few adventures that’s still great on a rainy day. You’ll get wet anyway, and the Soča river is just as stunning in the rain.

Not at all. Whether you are a first-timer or an experienced paddler, our guides will teach you the necessary techniques. 

The brilliant emerald is the natural state of the Soča river, and you will see it on most days. However, this is a wild, alpine environment. After heavy storms or during rapid snowmelt, the water may turn a milky turquoise or grey as the river carries sediment from the mountains. If you visit us during these times, you get to witness the raw power of the river in its wildest form, which is a unique experience in itself.
