Surrounded by beautiful mountains, rivers, waterfalls. Soča valley, you look amazing! Heading to Bovec, Slovenia?
If you’ve never done it before, this is the place to start canyoning in Bovec. Sušec is the most popular canyon in Slovenia and one of the most popular in Europe, featuring nice slides and jumps, that get higher as you move down the canyon. It’s basically a natural water park, carved into rock. Nothing too scary, but a lot of fun. The last 12 m slide into a deep pool will without a doubt give an adrenaline rush even to the most fearless participants and just in case you’re afraid to do it, there’s always a path around the waterfalls, so you can skip the scary parts. That’s what makes the Sušec canyon so amazing and appropriate for everyone, even for children.

Here at Nature’s Ways we care very much about customer satisfaction and the quality of our services, so don’t worry about being just another number in a group of 50 people or more. We only work with small groups, so there’s usually up to 8 people per group. In rare cases the group size will be over 8 and in that case extra guides will attend the trip, to ensure maximum safety. This way people really get to enjoy the canyoning trip so much more.
The guide will teach you about wildlife in the canyon. Remember – in the canyon we are only guests in someone else’s natural habitat. Birds, salamanders, frogs and other creatures live there, so it is important we leave the place in the same state we found it and not cause any damage to animals and flora and fauna.
Since canyoning in Bovec is very popular, canyons here can be a bit crowded sometimes. For this reason and in order to reduce environmental impact and provide high quality services, we only go canyoning with small groups of people, as well as plan our trips at times when canyons are less crowded, which makes the whole experience much more enjoyable.
